TSA Meet Information

Greetings! We are thrilled to have 13 swimmers representing OPK at tomorrow's TSA Championship Meet at Triangle Aquatic Center. Event, Heat, and Lane information for each OPK swimmer is attached to this email. Coaches James, Sophie, and Leighton will meet the 10 & Under swimmers at the door and the 11 & up swimmers on deck. Coaches will serve as the Kid Pushers and make sure the swimmers get to their events. Additional information from TSA is below:

  • Division Winners will be announced between Sessions 2 and 3. Teams that won their division can come on the pool deck with their coach at this time to accept their trophy. Division Winners can be viewed HERE. Division winners not participating in TSA Championship are welcome to come and accept their trophy.
  • Senior Scholarship Awards will be announced before the start of Session 4
  • Volunteer check-in is 1 hour prior to the start of each session.
  • Parents must meet their swimmer OUTSIDE the front door at the end of each session.

Team check-in will be begin at 6:30am. All volunteers will check in 1 hour prior to the start of each session. Check-in will be held outside the main doors of TAC. Coaches will be given their packet with heat sheets for any sessions they have swimmers and wrist bands for all coaches and kid pushers.

Swimmers for Sessions 1 & 2 will enter the pool deck with their coaches through the lower level pool doors. Sessions 3 & 4 will enter the pool through the lower level pool doors.

Volunteers

Teams are expected to provide other volunteers based on the size of your team participating. Anyone volunteering must wear a wrist band and enter through the main doors. Wrist bands will be handed out at volunteer check in, and kid pusher wrist bands are provided to the coaches in the team packet.

All TSA teams (participating or not) are asked to provide donations to Hospitality.

Coaches are expected to closely supervise their swimmers at all times. Running and horseplay will not be allowed. Coaches will be responsible for bringing all 10 & Under swimmers to the starting blocks for relays and to Clerk of Course for individual events.

Spectators

All spectators will enter the doors to the right of the main doors as you face the building.
