Hi Everyone!

There’s a lot of info in this email about the meet on Tuesday and more. I appreciate you reading the whole thing so we can make sure we put our best team forward versus the Hedingham Sharks.

1. Meet entries are due by tonight (Sunday 6/8) at midnight. (Usually, they’re due Saturday, but we’re extending the deadline JUST THIS ONCE so y’all can RSVP!) 💡A pro tip: go ahead and fill in your availability for the whole season now so you don’t have to worry about it every week!
2. Are you wondering: Can my swimmer swim Tuesday? If your child is in the Minnows group or above, YES! Until they’ve passed the Guppy swim test, they are not eligible for meets. So, if your child has passed the Guppy test, let us know if you’ll be there Tuesday, please!
3. Meet expectations. There are many well-documented expectations (check out this guide we made and this handbook!) We were very flexible at Time Trials yesterday, but please understand that if you choose to swim in the meet, the team is relying on you to swim every event unless you’re sick or injured! (Note that 6&unders do not swim butterfly and relays.)
4. Stay tuned for more details on Tuesday. We'll send details including parking, warm up time, concessions/food, and other specific pool stuff from Hedingham before the meet.
5. As always, let’s represent Oak Park with pride, treating the other team and their families with kindness, respect, and excellent sportsmanship.
6. Volunteers needed: There are still a few timer spots left, if anyone is able to help out! It's an easy job and you get splashed!
