Greetings Piranha Families!

The season is off to a great start and our first meet is right around the corner! I am one of your TSA Representatives along with James Weischedel. I will include our contact information at the end of this email. As TSA Reps, we are volunteers who serve on the TSA Board of Directors and are responsible for ensuring fair meets that adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the Triangle Swimming Association.

Swimmer Declaration for Swim Meets

Prior to each meet, parents will need to log-in to SwimTopia to declare whether their child(ren) are swimming or not. If you already know your schedule, you can go ahead and declare your attendance for all 6 of our dual meets. For directions on how to declare your swimmers' attendance, please visit the Signup Instructions page on SwimTopia. 

Swimmers must be declared no later than 11:30 pm on the Saturday prior to the Tuesday meet. Coaches will finalize the meet entries on Sunday and the meet will be seeded and the Heat Sheets published on Monday. It is essential that the coaches know of athlete attendance. Any swimmers who have not declared that they will be attending will not be entered into the meet.

SwimTopia Mobile App

Once the meet has been seeded, it will be published to SwimTopia and the SwimTopia Mobile App where you can see relay, heat, and lane assignments. Please also enable push notifications to let you know when Heat Sheets are ready and emergency alerts from the TSA reps and coaches.

Meet Volunteers

Parent volunteers at swim meets are essential for the meet to take place. The Volunteer registration is also open if you need to edit anything you signed up for or sign-up for additional slots. If you need to make changes to your job sign-up after 10:00 am on the day of the meet, please reach out to our Swim Team Coordinator, Tricia Wendel, at [email protected].

I am also looking for someone who is computer savvy to serve as our Meet Administrator. The Meet Administrator will use our meet management software, Meet Maestro, work with James and me to ensure times are imported from our timing system and the meet is scored accurately.
