Parents,

The TSA will offer 25 - $400 Cecil L Williamson Educational Grants for the 2023 summer. Only TSA Reps can submit eligible swimmers, so please email Andy and Kathy if your child is eligible and would like to be considered. Please email candidates names to [email protected].

Please ensure that the swimmer you are submitting for the grant meets the requirements listed below AND is willing and able to accept the grant (ie. accepting this grant does not interfere with any type of college scholarship).


Eligibility Requirements:

1. To be eligible, a swimmer or TSA coach must be a student entering their first year in a college, technical, business, or other post-secondary school.

2. A swimmer must also have competed in the last two (2) consecutive TSA swim seasons of eligibility and have swum in a minimum of three (3) dual meets in each of the seasons. To qualify as a coach, one must have competed as a swimmer in the two (2) seasons prior to becoming a TSA coach and have swum in a minimum of three (3) dual meets in each of the seasons. Petitions can be made for extenuating circumstances and will be acted upon by the Executive Committee. The year of grant eligibility does not have to coincide with their last season of TSA eligibility

Submissions will be accepted by Andy and Kathy until July 18 ([email protected]) and will be submitted to the TSA by July 20. The TSA will draw names on July 21. Winners will be announced via email, the TSA website and the Tuesday Night Lights blog. Checks will be mailed by early August.
