Good afternoon Piranha Parents!

Congratulations to our Piranhas on their 1st win of the season! We beat Crabtree 277-232 on Tuesday evening! Swimmer results are attached and linked here. 

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at this week's meet! I'd like to highlight Teighlor March as this week's Volunteer of the Week! Teighlor serves as one of our Stroke & Turn Judges, a job that has training requirements and can be stressful at times. Stroke & Turn Judges are responsible for ensuring swimmers follow the stroke, turning, and finishing rules of the event they are swimming. Teighlor also serves as a S&T Judge for USA Swimming, so she makes it look easy, even though it is not. 

Our next swim meet is Wednesday, July 5, at Jewish Community Center at 6:00 pm. Warm-ups will be at 5:30. Job sign-ups are still open! Please sign-up here to volunteer. 

I apologize for not updating you on the results of last week's meet vs. LifeTime Fitness. Officially, the final score was OPK 183, LTF 185. Anyone who was there can attest to the chaotic feeling of the meet. We had several concerns about how the meet was run and asked that the meet be vacated, however, we were not successful. The official are attached and linked here. 

Please don't forget to declare your swimmer's intent for Wednesday's meet by midnight on Saturday.
