State officials have issued a Code Red air quality alert for Wednesday, 7 June. This alert is in response to wildfires in Canada which are sending clouds of smoke downwind to the United States. When the forecast calls for Code Red or “Unhealthy” conditions, this poses a risk for all people but an especially higher risk for children, older adults, and those with heart and lung conditions, including asthma.

Because of this and our commitment to the best for our swimmers, practice to be will be cancelled today. We encourage you to stay indoors and rest up for tomorrow when we will swim double yardage for missing today!!
